Revlon Grow Luscious

Last week I decided it was time to try a new mascara.
I have used Maybelline's Full N' Soft for ages - but wanted
something different this time around.

I read very mixed reviews about Grow Luscious but decided to give it a go anyway for 2 reasons
1. It doesn't have plastic bristles
2. The brush is HUGE!
A lot of people dislike the large brush but it's one thing
about the brush that I love. I like that it is very tapered
at the top so I can use the end of it to get to my inner corner lashes.

When the wand is taken out of the tube there is no EXTRA mascara on the wand.
For me, that is one of the things I despise about many mascara's - I
hate when you pull out a wand and you have to wipe all of this excess
mascara on the side.

Application is good. I find I need about two coats to get the look I want, which is typical.
For me, the mascara does not provide a dramatic change in my lashes.
I find it provides a very subtle enhancement - some extra fluff and a little bit of
length. I tend to prefer mascara's that do that for an everyday look.

Throughout the day I can touch my lashes and they don't feel stiff and I have had
no problems with flaking!

  3. Hey, I'm Alex over at Counterfeit Curls. Your lashes really do look great! I myself am a really big fan of that type of brush. However I'm currently using the new lash blast from covergirl. It's in a purple tube, and I love how it makes my lashes look full, but at the same time not too clumpy :) Looking forward to more posts from you!
